New design The Thorn XL

So our popular EDC design The Thorn has been a big hit for folks wanting a super lightweight skeletonised blade, so much so that there’s been huge demand for a bigger version, so the Thorn XL was born. This Thorn XL with an extra 1” of blade length and a full size 4“ handle allows more reach with the blade and more control with the larger handle. The same great choice of steels are available either AEB-L stainless, RWL-34 or even Damasteel. These come in a choice of either the classic scandi grind or a flat grind for someone looking for a more  universal blade ideal for food preparation. They come with a kydex neck sheath as standard which can be worn around the neck, in a choice of colours. The eyelet spacing also allows the fitting of a  Teklok or similar belt system. The hole spacing also allows you to add it to another Kydex sheath like our Parang our Pocket Parang which turns it into a great companion blade set up.

We think these will become a real firm favourite with anyone looking for a lightweight blade for a camping trip or walking adventure when every gram of weight makes a difference.
